I have not seen he updates for the 2012 models but I don't expect much mad they had the biggest update since the original launch last year. Any changes I expect will be slight changes in the standard equipment in the model range. But I have seen this.

Well the gs and xs gets dab .different decals on the cruise control switches on all models hse gets an lux pack option, cargo liner insert under the boot lid where the spare wheel should be, arm rest pack for cloth seats, 16000 mile service instead of 15000 . Different material for the alcantara seats,. And a few name changes for some trim oh yes and a price rise |

You won't see major changes on FL2 now, it has 3 years to go so it will run out pretty much as is.

All of this sounds sensible to me except why they won't offer the 2.0 Si4 here ![]() I was talking to one of the instructors at the Luton Hoo LR Experience yesterday & he was very well educated in technical bits & bobs. I asked him this question & he said that the market doesn't really dictate the need for a petrol FL2 here & it is family 4x4 Estate & not really a sporty car, the Evoque has filled that role. What I forgot to ask was how can one explain why it used to be available in the 3.2 petrol here in that case? I think if anyone was hoping they would do a total system update they would be on cloud 9 but a few subtle additions etc would help, problem is the Evoque kit really dates the FL2 equipment. What they should have done & probably would have been a good idea on the 11 model year as that was a mid life change was to do something with that nasty cheap looking smooth plastic facia around the centre console. This is why I put the Wood kit on it though the design of the actual facia doesn't allow the top of the wood trim to look as if it is part of the car. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red. (Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red. (Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding. (Present) Freelander Metropolis 2015 MY In Santorini Black with Ivory Premium Leather. |

I think that this link will probably answer your questions: http://howmanyleft.co.uk/?q=freelander+2 It appears that out of the many, many thousands of FL2's currently taxed, only 6 are of the petrol driven variety! ![]() ![]() ![]() I can imagine that the petrol driven Evoque may sell in almost acceptable numbers as it's more appropriate for the uses to which it's likely to be put... |

I don't think the Disco 3 or 4 has ever come in Havana. Is it an older one, or Evoque maybe? |
