What might have been missed by non-LR servicing?

As some of you may know, I've just bought an early 2008/57 XS.

It's done 37,000 miles and had it's first service at the original dealer. But the two subsequent services have been done at a non Land Rover independent.

So, my question is: are there any recalls, updates, issues, problems etc that might have been missed, that I could / should / must get checked?

Thanks

Thanks - do you know when this should / should have been done? What are the 'rules'?

Annual corrosion / cosmetic inspection comes with the dealer service, if missed once its invalidated and I believe its warranted for 6 years.

So almost blackmail to get servicing done by main dealers - despite rules suggesting otherwise! Evil or Very Mad

And on that basis, already too late and not much I can do about it now.

So, anything else? Software updates, perhaps?

Look at Landrovers 'Topix' site, some information is free but some require payment. Punch in your language, car, model etc and work along the menus at the top, then expand the menus on the left.

Recalls, bulletins etc are all there but as I said, some is free.

you (or previous owner) could have had it serviced elsewhere cheaper and then had a LR dealer check over the paintwork obviously at a premium and a LR premium at that Laughing

Vauxhall are doing the same, lifetime warranty but service book needs stamping at a Vauxhall authorised inspection garage to maintain certain aspects of it Confused Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

@EYorkshire: Thanks - no time to do that now, but will have a look over the next day or two.

You could have missed out on the free cup of Douwe Egberts coffee in the showroom I suppose?
