Polish on plastic

Has anyone got any tips for getting black plastic back to black when you have got polish on it, I've tried back to black but it's still white. (other than the obvious tip of not getting polish on it in the 1st place)

Rub it off with a pencil eraser (I use a larger White one which is quite soft)

Smooth peanut butter supposed to work too Whistle Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

It is a bit of a nightmare at times.....I have used Autoglyme fast glass with a microfibre cloth - worked OK but you have to get it wet and rub quite hard (Oooooh Matron Laughing )

One top tip I heard (Bit late sorry 1stF.. Embarassed ) is to trimshine/backToBlack/BlackTrimWax etc the handles, door bottoms, front/rear lower bumpers BEFORE you wax the car - this way when you are then applying the polish/wax and spill over onto the plastic the wax wipes off very easily.

Yep peanut butter works too (must be the oil in it - Yummy as well Very Happy )
