What is the diferrence between the roof rails to FL2 without panoramic roof and with panoramic roof?
Because, the difference of the price is huge!

Panoramic roof is a large piece of glass on your roof which let sunshine in your car. If your car hasn't got a piece of glass then it is "without panoramic roof" or your car hasn't got a sun roof. In general the roof rails used for the panoramic roof may be taller and the cross bar may be at different place (I guess as I don't have any roof rails).

Yes, i know what panoramic roof is.
What i wanted to know is that if there is any difference in the fittind of the two roof rails bars.
For example, if i don't open my panoramic roof, can i mount the roof railbars for non panoramic roof?
Is the difference between the to kits only the height?

What is the difference between LR007220 and LR006608?
Can i use the LR006608 in my freelander with panoramic roof, if i do not open/use it?

Yes you can use any roof bars. The problem happens when someone who does not know you have the lower bars opens the roof and bang goes the glass and runners. Could prove expensive. FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

Pull the fuse out so you can't even accidentally forget.

I guess a new piece of glass installed would cost far more than the correct roof rails to start with.

The crossbar isn't installed in the back part of the rails?
Does the glass when opened goes till or even further then the yellow line, till the crossbar??
And he gets higher then the green line?
I hope that i can make myself understand. My english is not perfect.

Maybe when the sunroof is open it's ok. But when the sunroof is opening this is where the problem is with clearance. When the back edge of the glass raises to open, the back corners of the glass hit the underside of the roof rails on either side of the car as the roof rails are over the glass.

The heights of the glass roof in all positions will need to be measured carefully. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Fromk what i see and understand, it is not a problem of height but the problem is the window will not run because of the front suport of the rail?

But if the difference of the kit is the height... where does that leave us?

The left ruler is backwards, 150mm starts at the edge to the windscreen. So the 2 rulers total 300mm

So, the difference of the two kits, if they have the same height, is the front piece that is cut in order to open the panoramic roof?
