Eurocarparts.com

Should be Eurocarparts.CON

Checking out price of front shocks for my FL2. £70.20 each using their discount code PARTS25. Coincidentally, that makes it the same price as it was last week BEFORE THE DISCOUNT!!!

Phoned them up and asked them the price through my firm's trade account. £78+VAT each - £91 inc tax!!!

Asked them why, when I go on their website as a non-trade customer I can get it cheaper than the trade price and they then offered to 'match' their own web price!

That reeks of unfair commercial practice. The CPUTR 2008 provides protection from such methods and interestingly, the OFT launched an investigation into retailers such as SCS who boast a 'was' price of £500 but now only £200! The reality is that there was no such 'was' price at all and the store just made it up or it existed for 1 day before they dropped the price.

I would argue that regulation 5(2)(a) and (4)(g) of the CPUTR 2008 cover what eurocarparts are up to here. Report them!
