Romania 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Tonga Green

I am quite tempted to do this. I have a few questions:

What is the difference between the UK(rhd) and the EU(lhd) ones?
What is the signature strip?

Also had anyone found the 2013 rear lights? I saw some on ebay, but at 565」 they can keep them.

I just made wiring jumper 10cm long between car wiring loom and new 2013 signature hid headlights. Will post some pics later how it looks like. I took one part of connector from damaged D3 headlight and another part of connector from the same D3's cars side wiring loom and jumped wired this order.

Pins has numbers next to wires
Car side wiring loom's connector (or old 2007 HID head light) - new 2013 headlight side
4 ---> 3 turn signal +
3 ---> 1 side light (signature stripes and circle with 7 leads) -
3 ---> 2 turn signal -
3 ---> 12 high beam -
5 ---> 11 low beam +
7 ---> 10 high beam +
1 ---> 9 low beam -
15 ---> 7 level motor DCM
16 ---> 5 level motor IGN
14 ---> 6 level motor GND
2 ---> 16 side light (signature stripes) +
X ---> 4 circle with 7 leads +

the question is when does the circle lights up on 2013 car? I think that this is DRL that lights during day time but not with low beam HID, high beam?

X I made it 2 from car side wiring loom and now it lights with signature stripes all the time with side light, sight lights + low beam, side lights + hight beam. I'm thinking to put a relay to off pin 4 in new connector side then low or high beams lights on.

Hope that helps Thumbs Up

The LED cluster lights up with the lighting control switch set to 'off', as opposed to 'auto'. They come on when the engine is running, or the gear selector is out of the Park position. Hope that helps. Foraging near Gaydon....

I'll make it work opposite to low beams. BTW where is the lightning control switch on 2013? I see coin pocket instead of old unit in previous versions.

It's on the Left (indicator) stalk....not sure whether you are left or right hand drive, so can't comment accurately if you are the former. Foraging near Gaydon....
